Location was excellent - within walking distance of EVERYTHING from supermarket, pubs and service stations to cafe's and the beach. The shower is roomy and the provided hand/body washes and shampoo smell devine! The place is set back from the road so noise is minimal. The free wifi had excellent speeds.

Bryan and Denise were extremely hospitable and professional. They were informative and welcoming. We had an absolutely marvelous stay. The location was perfect. The delicious sourdough bread and local coffee was an added touch for breakfast in the mornings. Thank you!

perfect location for affordable price, right in Espalade and Kingscote town, huge TV with wife in the bedroom was superb. We enjoyed our stay super clean and we enjoyed using the kitchen, everything is there. We will never stay anywhere when we come back for our next job, we will stay longer...no problem on late check-out and early check-in.

Location was quiet. We enjoyed the private beach and the wildlife. They had penguin nests in the backyard, and we saw wild kangaroos come through the backyard as well. It was a fantastic place to stay at, and we wished we had more time on Kangaroo Island to see everything.
A quiet beachside village. If you are looking for a morning coffee then there is only a tiny beach kiosk open a few days a week, not to worry just a few minutes down the road is Lavender Farm that is open daily and serves the most enormous Lavender scones. There are no shops in Emu Bay but groceries are available in Kingscote a 15 min drive away.

Really convenient location to get to everything especially alot of the local businesses and places of interest. Gorgeous views of Bay easy acees to the beach. Heaps of local facilities. The Lavender Farm is just down the road we went twice for the scones and Lavender Gin. KIS Distillery was also just down the road, absolutely beautiful with eh firepits and gin and liqueur flights and food truck with delicious pizzas. There were 2 wonderful Honey farms, art galleries. The day trip to Flinders Chase was smooth and worth it for the views of Admirals Arch and Remarkable Rocks. Some of the sights like Seal Bay and Little Sahara were oaed and probably need another day to do these without it being a rush. Great to take your time picnic and enjoy. Certainly do need to book ahead at the local pubs and restaurants because many were booked out on the Friday and Saturday nights.

The beach itself is magnificent, a long sweeping beach gleaming white sand, water gorgeous blue, very inviting. Clear water for “at ease” swimming.
Fishing from the shore, a couple of people there caught some fish whilst we were walking or boat launching facilities available

Emu Bay is, hands down, one of the prettiest places to stay on the island. Convenient close to Kingscote and central to explore the island. Beach is absolutely beautiful and safe for little kids. Bonus is you can drive on the beach as well and we were rewarded with a visit of a pid of dolphins.

The two bedroom house that the 4 of us stayed in was well up to expectations. The hosts were a great couple and were most helpful.
We spent 7 nights there and found ourselves busy most days. the island has a lot offer with a great variety of attractions. These included day trips to Flinders Chase National Park to see both Admiral's Arch and Remarkable Rocks. Another day was spent at Raptor Domain which included both the Birds of Prey show and the Venom & Retile show. This was followed by a visit to Seal bay. Stokes Bay with it's hidden entrance and a swim in the enclosed rock pool was also a highlight. We found driving anywhere around the island was not a problem even though a lot of travel was on well maintained dirt roads.
