The host was super responsive and helpful. The accommodation had everything we needed for a small work retreat (ample beds left unused. It was a great location for our Winery Tour guide to collect us from and take us around.

The property was absolutely cosy and Maree and Bill were wonderful hosts. It has a nice large bathroom and a kitchen as well as a comfy lounge and bed. A great point of difference is being able to take your pups - which there is a great area outside for them, along with a BBQ.

The stay at Drysdale was convenient as I had family living in Ocean Grove and Point Lonsdale and they did not have enough accommodation for my son and I at their houses. We saw the family over the 2 days and ate out at Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove, Queenscliff and Portarlington.

We enjoyed fresh mussels we bought from Portalington pier near Drysdale. The mussels were packed in the insulated box with ice in it securely to cook or to bring home as special gift for friends. If you bring your ingredients from your favourite recipes to cook with these fresh mussels (remember to bring equipment to clean mussel shelves before cooking ) you can create a five star dinner with a very minimal cost within a short time.

The rail trail from Drysdale to Queenscliff was fabulous.
The rail trail from Drysdale to Queenscliff was fabulous. About 35km return. Great views. Great coffee at The Wharf in Queenscliff.
The Bungalow Cafe in Drysdale serves great coffee plus had a good range of breakie grub at good prices.

The house was ideal for a family.
The house was ideal for a family. Large kitchen/lounge area and large out door sitting area with a fire pit. There was 27 of us from 3 years old to 74 years old. we had plenty of room. Everything was clean and in very good condition. I highly recommend Bellarine Lodge.

We stayed 2 night at Drysdale and had an amazing time! Close to so many wineries, you will definitely find some hidden gems along the Grub Road, and close to Geelong and Clifton Springs. Highly recommend to visit The Dell in Clifton Springs.
Very clean, neat tidy modern place to stay. Central to Bellarmine Peninsula towns where everything thing was from 3-20mins away from us, ie Drysdale, Ocean Grove, Port Arlington, St. Leonards, Queenscliff. Nice heated pool. Comfy bed. Wifi was good. The main amenities that you would expect were all there. We travelled with our 2 year old and had him sleep with us. Enough room for a travel cot in the room I U choose to bring. I meant to give the place a 9.
Beautiful location overlooking the lake. Easy walk to have morning coffee at the lake. Bus stop a short walk although can walk to Drysdale Village with ease through the recreation park. Highly recommend for some gentle & peaceful relaxation.
Absolutely awesome motel! Brand new clean rooms and brand new bathrooms. Spa, pool and BBQ area were great and got lots of use from us. Hotel staff were extremely polite and they gave us fresh towels each day.
Perfect location for family reunion and wedding on The Bellarine. With a hire car it was possible to take day trips from Drysdale. Public transport nearby also and very good taxi and car hire within the area.
