We stayed in a couple different rooms. Frst we stayed in the Villa. The place is stunning, it's as big as a house and with the luxury of an indoor and outdoor bath and outdoor spa which takes on the breathtaking views. The kitchen is fully equipped with far more than you think - the owners have definitely thought of everything for this place. The views are stunning, looking over farm land with the animals nearby and out to sea. It feels secluded and private and a very relaxing place to stay.
We also stayed in the A frame glamping accommodation. This has just a bathroom and bed. I like the idea of having a communal kitchen, meeting other friendly travellers, sharing space and cooking over a glass of wine. The kitchen here is also extremely well equipped. Even a bread maker!!
The communal lounge room is very spacious with plenty of seats, books and games.
The outdoors is also set up for plenty of relaxing with ample seating and fire pits.
Also able to go for walks along the coastline and see penguins at dusk. this was magical. There are a few different spots you can see them, all with seats and a small fire pit to sit, relax and watch.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. we felt very looked after and honestly didn't want to leave - infants we extended our stay for another 3 nights!!

The nicest part of Devonport was along the river and to the beach. The headland walk from the Surf Club and to the lighthouse was beautiful. The cafe at the Devonport Surf Club was really nice, the staff were very friendly and the coffee was excellent - 10/10.

We liked everything about Devonport.
We liked everything about Devonport. We had an evening meal at the Argosy and lunch at Banjos in the mall. Finding places around Devonport was easy and parking was very good. Lovely views of the Mersey River and beaches from lots of areas. The Antique Emporium and garden centres were excellent.

We love visiting Devonport.
We love visiting Devonport. It is a clean, tidy town and has all the facilities we need. It is also a great point to go out to places from, for example Tasmazia, Chudleigh, towns and beaches along the northern coast of Tasmania just to name a few.

We based ourselves in Devonport as we were visiting the coast area there We did travel south to do a bit of site seeing about Hobart etc. We travelled over and back on the Ferry which was a short 5 minute drive.
You can see most of the coast attractions an easy 45 minute drive from Devonport. Tasmania has excellent playgrounds for kids
It was a great location, a quiet area and close to the beach and to Devonport. The beds were super comfortable, the shower pressure was great and it had a fully equipped kitchen. There was a retro feel about the house which was enjoyable.
What a gem....beautiful well appointed small apartment...very clean and comfortable and conveniently located just on the edge of Devonport city...ideal stay for couples...spa bath a lovely treat 😀
