The cleanliness, lots of complimentary treats and beautiful, spacious bathroom with heated lighting. Comfortable bed, super quiet and bonus having a bistro across the road! I can't recommend enough.

I have fallen in love with Daylesford.
I have fallen in love with Daylesford. It is an acceptable drive from the CBD to be transformed into a unique environment that is devoid of city stress.
It has representations of our past in the preservation of original buildings.
Cliffy's Emporium is an iconic cafe. Its gorgeous menu is only matched by the service you will receive from every staff member. But be aware that the popularity of this venue requires advanced bookings. You will not be disappointed.
The Boathouse restaurant nestles on the edge of the Daylesford lake. It has the luxury of employing a renowed chef who will impress you with mouth-watering culinary delights.
There are so many other activities to experience in Daylesford. The list is long so enjoy your special experience at Daylesford.

We enjoyed wandering through the village and stopping to browse in the local shops and particularly the galleries. The bakery is a lovely traditional bakery and we really enjoyed the dinner service at Bistro Terrior. We had some lovely walks along the lake and the goldfields track and enjoyed visiting the convent gallery. We ventured to Hepburn Springs where we visited the various mineral springs as well as stopping for a drink at the Hepburn Springs brewery. We also visited Maldon which has a very different vibe to Daylesford and really enjoyed our lunch at the Good Food Providers in Main Street.

The property is perfect.
The property is perfect. Avoid Farmers Arms pub we did not have a good experience and very disappointed. Walked the main town so many options. We were celebrating a mile stone parents birthday so it was more about catching up with family and this location is middle ground. We did visit the Chocolate Mill very delicious, Hepburn Springs Brewery, and had the most amazing catering of food and private event room from Spade to Blade for the birthday event (vegetarians you will not be disappointed) but the meat side was great too.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great location. Hot breakfast $22 and you can have a very full belly with honest food. No stupid herbs or weird bread. Good honest white bread with bacon, eggs, and beans. Toast and cereals available. If you’re after luxury, this is not the place to go. If you need a good value, clean room in the heart of Daylesford with friendly honest people come here.
We were wowed from the moment we walked in. This house is not only beautiful, but also very comfortable and felt like home. I wish we had booked it for longer. One morning we walked around the lake, which had spectacular scenery. Everyone in the town was so friendly and happy. I strongly recommend a stay in Daylesford and book this house!
Clean spacious modern house in quiet private setting. Kitchen large convenient and well equipped. Curved sofa seating great for group interaction. Beds very comfortable. Ducted heating and gas fire welcome as chilly temperatures. Good pre-arrival communication from Daylesford Country Retreats.
Centrally located in gorgeous Daylesford. The reception desk is the bar and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel accepted our one night booking as we found many other providers did not.
