Beautiful place to stay! We spend 2 night there and It was exactly what we wanted, a quiet and private place surrounded by nature. Robbie and Charmaine were amazing hosts they were very welcoming and they made you feel like home. They would make sure you’re confortable throughout the stay and the homemade breakfast was just excellent! if you’re looking to experience the Daintree Rainforest you should definitely stay here.

I enjoyed my stay at Daintree Riverview Lodges, the location suited me and the staff were friendly and gave me some tips on local walks, which was appreciated.

This eco lodge is a real gem. It is run on sustainable principles, with everything elevated above Rainforest ground. Each visitor is assigned their own detached hut at the end of a walkway, and the huts have lots of windows and a long skylight to look out at the rain forest where you see cassowary droppings. The beds are highly comfortable and bathroom is amazing with natural bath fittings and the shower having a full height window. Staff are lovely with lots of information provided about the Rainforest and surrounding area to explore. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both were superb. Loved our stay.
Featuring mountain views, Daintree Peaks ECO Stays in Daintree features accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar.

We stayed in Greg’s property for 1 night in Oct., 2024. Greg was a very nice and welcoming host, and the lodge was clean. The breakfast was also great! Some of the facilities (e.g. the fridge in our lodge) isn’t fully working due to cyclone Jasper’s damage. However, it was totally understandable as the entire area hasn’t fully recovered from the damage yet, and Greg did his best to make things as comfortable as possible. The free WiFi in room was working and was in reasonable speed. We highly recommend staying in Greg’s property when visiting Daintree / Diwan area!

We stayed in the big bungalow and what an absolute gem of a find! There is everything you need and more in the kitchen. The house is kitted out and decorated beautifully. A lovely front veranda to sit out - or sit in the lush garden around the side/back. Would definitely recommend and return.
Surrounded by rainforest jungle in the Daintree National Park, Deep Forest Lodge offers secluded apartments with private bathroom, basic cooking facilities and a barbecue on each verandah.

Amazing location and a very friendly host.
You are immersed in the rainforest; We spotted cassowary and his chick in the early morning. They are frequent visitors there as there are quite some plumtrees in the garden.
The room is very clean and no bugs inside :)
Daintree Siesta is a cosy accommodation location set amongst 20 acres of tropical rainforest within the Daintree National Park. Rainforest walking trails are available for guests on the property.

Beautiful setting in the rainforest with walks available and in a good location central to most places in the Daintree. Had dinner at the restaurant one night and the food was good and the drinks reasonably priced. No wifi but Optus had signal. Comfortable beds and good bathroom. Overall a good place.
Loved Daintree rainforest and cape tribulation. A must see if you are heading to Cairns, Palm Cove or Port.Douglas. It’s is a world heritage site. We did indigenous tour at Mossman gorge which was great. Beautiful tropical trees and fauna. Fresh healthy air. You must do it!

The whole experience from the ferry ride, meandering along windy roads whilst taking in the magnificent tropical views to our destination was fascinating.
The 2023 December cyclone caused chaos with the roads eroding & severely damaged, there are traffic management staff all the way with single lanes & traffic lights along cape tribulation road.
Well worth a visit to support the local businesses & Heritage Lodge staff were amazing & our evening dinners were 5 star restaurant

Daintree was lovely and we enjoyed birdwatching, exploring some of the surrounding tracks and, particularly, an early-morning birding trip on the Daintree River. However, we changed our plans and stayed in Port Douglas which was close enough to allow daily trips to Daintree but had better - and better value - hotels, a choice of restaurants and so on.

A wonderful experience in the Daintree and Cape Trib.
A wonderful experience in the Daintree and Cape Trib. We missed the Cassowary Falls as they wanted $59 per adult to enter. So sadly, no where nearby for a free swim in the heat. Ferry over the river was $45 return which is pricey for a 2 minute trip across. The DVH Pub over the road had great bar staff with meals and drinks very affordable and yummy. The manager even put the T20 world cup cricket final on the TV for us. The café at Thornton Beach had great views and tasty sour dough sandwiches. Recommend a stop at the Daintree Ice-cream park too as they were fantastic flavors and only $7.50 for a tub of four varieties!

Beautiful, amazing and peaceful, we loved the Daintree.
Beautiful, amazing and peaceful, we loved the Daintree. Can't wait to visit again. Cassowary falls was amazing and I would recommend the Eco Lodge for dinner. Unfortunately we missed out on daintree icecream but won't next visit. Dave at Solarwhisper tours was amazing with his personal knowledge of the local crocs and wildlife. Swimming in the Emmagen creek was fun, we should have gone to the blue holes for a swim but will have too next time also. Highly recommended sailaway tours to Mackay Cay for a great reef experience.

This an old property with a wonderful location. Just next to the boat ramp where the amazing boat bird tours leave. So a very practical location for an early morning start. The hotel opposite which serves meals was closed whilst we were there which meant some guests were unaware and hadn’t self catered. Fortunately for us we were able to reserve a table at the Eco Lodge 3kms away which has a wonderful setting and delicious food.
Absolutely gorgeous surroundings and the veranda views are stunning - a very charming place to stay right near to the Daintree River and for all rainforest exploring. Charmaine and Robbie were amazing hosts - welcoming and relaxed and really made this a beautiful stay. Breakfast was yummy too!
The rainforest was breathtakingly beautiful. We were lucky to see a juvenile and adult Cassowary. We enjoyed walks along several beaches, Cow Bay, ,Cape Tribulation. Alexandra lookout. Cape Tribulation boardwalk.Daintree Discovery Centre was amazing.
The location was gorgeous, right in the middle of the beautiful Daintree. It was walking distance to the restaurant and to the relaxing river. The restaurant served delicious meals and having a light breakfast included was a bonus.
We loved staying at Daintree Wild Bed & Breakfast. It is a great location. The hotel itself is comfortable and interesting. Amazing animals and building. The proprietors are absolutely lovely.
