Came to Canberra for Floriade 2024. I was surprised when the receptionist told me my room was ready as I arrived a bit early at 11 am. Love my 3 nights stays at Hyatt- A grand old hotel with art deco interior design. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was super comfy. Amazing housekeeping team did a great job. Scrumptious breakfast buffet with nice coffee, not from the diy machine was a big tick. Overall, the atmosphere of the hotel, the attentive staff, and the quality of service, the gym facility, was 10 out of 10.

I booked the accomodation and then read the reviews and thought oh no, but to my surprise the beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. Sheets were clean. I would of liked a doona cover on the doonas as it feels a bit ick sleeping with bare doona covers b it appreciated the sheet underneath and on top. Some cutlery and a couple of plates could be helpful for late night arrivals as we had to go to coles but came back and didn’t have cutlery ect but for the most part we would stay here again.

Sisi was a fabulous host very easy to contact. Secure undercover parking was a bonus.
Not somewhere to stay if you are travelling with elderly family members, the accommodation is spread over 4 floors. There is a lift which was greatly appreciated.
