We loved our stay! Very comfortable tiny home with everything you need for a weekend away. Despite being on the owners property it felt very private and secluded. The host was absolutely wonderful and very accomodating. The location was fantastic, about 20 minutes from central Byron and only 7 minutes to Mullumbimby.

Beautiful location, lovely bird life and great view.
Forget Byron - stay in Bruns. The Brunswick Picture Theatre is a MUST. Everything they put on there is quality. And the vibe is groovy, profesh and friendly. The Italian restaurant (prawn home-made pasta) was OUTSTANDING - possible the best pasta I've EVER had (I kid you not, give it a try). The Japanese restaurant is excellent. I loved the local market. Lots of coffee shops, charming beach and wild long-beach. Again - forget Byron. Stay in Bruns!

Brunswick Heads gets better every day.
Brunswick Heads gets better every day. There is the ocean beach and smaller, safe town beach; enough good eating places and small but quality shops. The bakery is a highlight too. All you need and less busy than Byron Bay.

It is a really a motel with ten rooms with beautiful views 0f the river and greenery, half a minute from the busiest eateries and cafes. It is the best position in Brunswick Heads. But the rooms are ordinary - fine, but ordinary. The only place to stat!

Loved the welcoming local vibe.
Loved the welcoming local vibe. Having stopped here many years ago (about 40 yrs) we were so pleased to find it has not lost the laid back charm we found back then.
The addition of Bruns bakery (great for brekky) and some lovely restaurants (La Casita) highly recommended where we ate on our overnight stay (easily within walking distance of our accommodation).
We also walked to the local beach to have a look and watched some local surfers on a cooler, almost wintery morning.
Overall loved revisiting Brunswick Heads, a little gem 💎 that we hope stays the way it is for many years to come.
Will be sure to re-visit again very soon but will stay for longer 🙂
P.S. The local pub looked great but sadly we didn't have time to call in.

Brunswick Heads is a beautiful little town.
Brunswick Heads is a beautiful little town. For a nice quiet coastal getaway it has everything you need. You can explore the waterways on a boat, paddle board or kayak, enjoy snorkelling or swimming in the river. Take a walk over to the beach and soak up the sun, or take your board out for a surf. There are also many great options for dining out for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had to strategically plan all of our meals to make sure we got to go everywhere we wanted!

The location was excellent. There is a restaurant / bar underneath rooms 8-12 which a bit noisy but they close at 10pm so not really an issue. The Brunswick Hotel is next door and that backs on to rooms 1 to 7 so on Friday and Saturday can get loud. That a side I am planning to stay again later in the year
Sails is a great retro hotel. The rooms were like stepping back in time but with all the modern appliances you need. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Parking right outside the room. A very quiet location within easy walking distance to the beaches and shops/cafes.
This was great value in Brunswick Heads, perfectly located between inlet and sea, walking distance to town restaurants, hotel etc. The hosts are very friendly and the property has every thing you need. An excellent choice for a few nights away.
I was really surprised about this Motel
room was vey cozy and clean
5-8 minutes by walk to Brunswick Heads center
