The staff were always accommodating and asked if we needed any supplies throughout our 1 week stay. The unit was clean and comfortable and all the amenities were clean. The location was great - right on the beach. I cant wait to go back.Thank you

Desperately needs a decent taxi service. I was visiting friends which was hard enough. Would never recommend as a holiday destination basically due to lack of tansport options. Couldn't even enjoy a couple of glasses of wine together over dinner :-(

Most underrated beach destination in Australia. Pure heaven!
Most underrated beach destination in Australia. Pure heaven! The area around Greys Bay and Horseshoe is just perfect, could happily stay a week. Very hot in the middle of the day in summer though so have some plans for indoor activities for then.

Fair selection of places to dine.
Fair selection of places to dine. Jochheim's Pies live up to their reputation of best pies around, and ham/salad rolls are amazing. Birds' Fish and Chips very good with lovely outlook over the marina.
Love walking the tracks around Queens, Horsehoe and Rose Bays.
History Museum is worth a visit, volunteers very obliging to answer any queries.

A great little town with great beaches a good marina, a fishing fleet and places near the fleet where you can buy fish and chips and watch the sunset. On the upside, it has a Pizza Hut that you can actually dine in, it has great beaches and a really good lookout where you can go to watch all the rocket launches. Yep, Bowen is the site of Australias first space vehicle launching facility with the fist one due to go up early May 24.. It is also the site of the "outside scenes" of the movie "Australia" go down to the pier and look back at the pub, and you will see the scene where the Japs were bombing Darwin.. Also has a really good n local information place and when we were there, really cheap fuel. So well worth a visit

The cabins are in a great position on the waterfront, with lovey views out to sea, BUT don't expect to be on the beach, as the only access to the beach is via a ramp, and at high tide there is no beach!
Bowen is an interesting little town and there are several eating places not far away and right on the beach.

The property is very pet friendly with the addition of a new off leash area where Dogs can be exercised as well as walked around the property. There is ample of room to park a dog float or trailer near the cabins and dogs are allowed inside following all the normal guidelines of being off of the furniture etc…
Location was right on the beach, and the room was great. The pool was a great way to wind down after spending a day out and about. Greys Beach and Horseshoe Bay were not to far away that you could walk to. Other park guests were very friendly. I'll definitely return again and hopefully for a little longer.
Huge comfortable clean rooms in the heart of bowen. Close to everything and not far to walk down to front beach and only a short drive to Rose Bay, Horseshoe Bay. Would stay again
