All morning was chatting with the host as she wanted to greet us but only when we arrived, she told us outdoor jacuzzi is broken which was the main reason we booked this place. We decided to leave as the main feature wasn’t provided. Booking and the host refusing refund although they stuffed up this booking. Shocking and appalling behavior.

Blairgowrie is an easy drive from Melbourne.

Blairgowrie is an easy drive from Melbourne. Much easier using the freeways. While the is a toll to pay a toll pass is only $13 and lasts three days. So no complaints about that. It shaves 45 minutes off the journey at times.

Good location for getting around the peninsula, good choice of local shops takeaways and restaurants. Very good accommodation. Beach was closed when we stayed and pier could only be accessed from steps, so not very suitable for disabled

Blairgowrie was a wonderful place to stay.

Blairgowrie was a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed the quiet, nature filled streets, lots of trees, coastal gardens, coastal walks and birds to look at. The nearby shopping centre had an excellent restaurant, cafes and supermarket. It wasn't as 'touristy' as other parts of the peninsula.

The local shops are one strip- not over commercialised- but found a very good coffee and IGA stocks delicious food and local bread. Across the road is the beach which is quiet and there is a toilet/shower. I really appreciate how Blairgowrie shopping strip hasn’t been over developed.

The Blairgowrie IGA deserves a special mention as a very well run business. Even in the busiest of days when most places would be hell it was a very helpful and friendly place to shop with a very good selection in a small space.

The property is set in a quiet location hidden in the leafy / hilly part of Blairgowrie with a short drive to the back or front beaches. The house is quite spacious. There is a covered outside patio area with an outside fridge. Decent back garden to play. If you like TV… there are lots of big tvs nearly in every room. Renovated large bathroom.

We had a lovely stay at River Cottage over Easter. The apartment was spacious, clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. Location was great, less than a 10 minute walk into Blairgowrie's main street, easy drive to visit other areas on the Mornington peninsula.
