We visited Berry to attend the Berry Writers Festival which was held over the weekend. It’s a lovely place for a festival, being quiet and idyllic while also having the infrastructure to lay on a large scale festival. The townspeople are friendly and Berry is well known in that region for a weekend visit.

Definitely a place we've always wanted to visit for a few days. Staying here for a few days was worth it. Just enough to get away from the city lifestyle and enjoy some peace and quiet joy of Berry. Plenty to do around and still more to explore!

Sweet little town with lots of shops, cafes, decent restaurants, particularly one in town called SOUTH on Albany. Also very centrally located if one wishes to explore the area. Not far from the coast, the Southern Highlands (Bowral), Ilaroo which is where the the Bundanon Art Museum is located and only a two hour drive south of Sydney.

So many great cafes & restaurants: the Indian went out of their way to accommodate us for a lovely dinner. Queens St Cafe has an awesome breakfast. For a special occasion you cant go past South on Albany.

Berry Thai restaurant for dinner was very good.
Bamboozle has lots of lovely things. I bought two perfect gifts from there.
Berry Tea Shop is a must! Friendly staff, great scones, raspberry jam is delicious and so many teas to try and they have lots of yummy cakes.

The room was so bad that we had to check out
Mould/ filthy dirty kitchenette
The whole until smelt
The one air con unit didn’t work properly
Shower head broken /water going everywhere
Roads internal have huge potholes
No lighting to find rooms
The owners ( church) would be horrified to see their property in this condition
Just because you have an aged property doesn’t been it can not be clean and maintained

Great place to get away with friends for a little retreat from the city! The house is situated in a great location among beautiful greenery & is only a 10min drive to Berry town centre for restaurants and experiences. It’s was also only a 10min drive to the surrounding wineries which was a bonus! Jackie the owner is very warm and welcoming and made sure we were all set up in the Studio room which was a great size, very clean and had everything we needed. Definitely recommend!
Ambience of staying in a vineyard in restored heritage-like buildings. We toured all the buildings, soaking in the history. Quiet, private location.

Location was good, just off the main street of Berry. However, the proximity to the pub meant that it was quite noisy on one night until quite late.
