The town is a true hidden gem on the South Coast; I am honestly surprised it wasn't busier.
Bermagui Pizza Take Away had fantastic pizza, so good we had it two nights. Blue Wave Seafood seemed to be the only fish and chip shop in the area open during the Easter Weekend but it was closed for dinner Friday and Sunday which was disappointing.
There were quite a few fishing spots to try and plenty of fish biting.
The only thing that annoyed me was having to leave after only spending 3 days there.

Bermagui is a small town We only had one full day there, 2 nights, which was enough. I believe it is good for fishing if that is what you like. Very pretty. Not much to do there. But not far from Tathra if you have a car. A couple of restaurants which we would have liked to try were not open because we were there Monday/ Tuesday-they opened wed-Sun, or some nice cafes open breakfast and lunch but not dinner.

Our accommodation was amazing value for money...l think we may have got a luxury upgrade as our unit was so lovely, spacious and well equipped.
I loved the attention to detail with free use of bikes to ride too!
The location was a short walk to the local pub and across from the marina.

Hidden gem!
Hidden gem! We couldn’t stay long this trip, but will be back. Swam in the Bermagui Blue Pools and had a lovely time as a family on our last day of travelling down the East Coast before arriving home.

A wonderful modern hotel, amazing view. The staff was great. Nice rich croissant and muesli for breakfast. The bed was enormous, the fridge and microwave very useful. A ver fabulous place. The meal at the hotel were delicious.
We had a lovely stay walking along the lake and driving into Bermagui for dinner. It was a hot day but the breeze at night was terrific. The laundry and bathroom facilities were great.
