We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay in our Superior King Room which was spacious, modern and stylishly decorated.
The King size bed was comfortable and the outlook from the grassy area outside our room to the mountains was lovely.

We Loved it!! The Hemp hut is a very unique structure, rustic, but comfortable and with beautiful touches like the stained glass door. It is close to town, but still very private with a nice green, treed outlook. The fire was pre lit and the Octagon cozy when we arrived which was a lovely touch we really appreciated. There was plenty of firewood ready to go. and the phone reception was good so I could hotspot easily. All in all a really comfortable stay, wish it was longer, but we will be back!

What wasn't there to like? Jody was the most kind and generous host. We felt at home and she was always super helpful with any questions we had. The property itself is set on the most beautiful land - lush and green and right by the river. The house itself had many parts we could enjoy as a family and also the kids absolutely loved it.
The deck was perfect for our morning Yoga and for our BBQ catch ups. Loved the chicken coop that the kids could feed scraps to, and also the gardens were so expansive - perfect for family soccer, easter egg hunts and hide and seek! Jodie had some fantastic recommendations of nearby places to visit and we also organised an amazing at-home masseuse for the ladies (which I highly recommend). The beauty of the stay is that Jodie and her partner run an amazing Canoe business from the side of the property so the entire family could also organise our own canoe adventure from our place. It was magical. I would highly, highly recommend the Bellingen Converted Cottage to anyone considering staying in Bellingen!

Great little town - village atmosphere with great pubs, restaurants and local interesting shopping. You'll need more than one day. It is the gateway to Waterfall Way - and a trip up the mountain is also a must.

The hotel was very near the town so we ate out one night in Bruno’s restaurant which was very good , and the second night we ate in the restaurant 3 blue ducks at the hotel which was great . We visited Dorrigo national park and did the waterfall walk in the forest which was really interesting

Our guesthouse, The Belfry, was excellently located, great value for money and it was easy to walk to the Writers Festival venues, the pub and other cafes, restaurants and shops. We loved everything about the town which has a relaxed and friendly vibe. I've been to Bellingen many times and never tire of it. I can recommend the pub for decent pub food, Zaatars restaurant for great middle eastern food and The Old Butter Factory for an excellent breakfast. Service in Bellingen is always great and the Writers Festival is a highlight for the town. Well done Bello!

We booked the night in Bellingen, so we could visit the nearby waterfalls. The village has a few really cute looking restaurants, but all were fully booked on a Wednesday evening, so plan ahead for dinner.

A fantastic Guest House with an amazing lady looking after you.
Our stay was too short, would love to have stayed longer so that we could it enjoy it even more.
So many local restaurants, there are two local hotels/bars, both very good with good menus for lunch or dinner. Everything in walking distance from the Guest House.

Bellingen is a wonderful historic display case of NSW country town architecture.
It also has an amazing range of shops and things that other towns have bits of - Bellingen's got the lot.
Shop people and shoppers not actually discourteous but not friendly. Still, it was a Monday morning.
Overall, a delightful place that could be made more delightful by getting rid of that mainroad traffic through the town. It detracts from the ambience.
Great location, including parking, often a problem in Bellingen. Close to shops, restaurants, bars and scenic riverside walks. Excellent facilities, including very pleasant balcony almost literally built into a large tree. Genial host, helpful and cheery. We'll come again.
Newly renovated, beautiful rooms. Very quiet, a bit outside of Bellingen - great for stargazing. Onsite restaurant (Three Blue Ducks) with great food and service!! Very attentive staff who serve drinks to the pool area.
Great accommodation in the centre of town. Large, clean, comfortable room. Hotel bistro served tasty meals. Provisions for a light breakfast left in the room for our use.
