Title: Unacceptable Stay - Mouse sighted in toilet and Unbearable Odor
Rating: 1/5
"We booked this house for a night, but unfortunately, our stay was cut short due to a mouse which we noticed in the toilet but what put us off was a putrid smell from a dead mouse. The condition of the rest of the house was reasonably clean, except for the kitchen floor which was dusty. We were told that there was parking on site - but did not know that we had to park our loaded trailer and car in the driveway and assumed the garage doors meant we would have secured parking - this was a bit misleading. Despite our efforts to address this with the owner, she refused to acknowledge the issue and take responsibility.
Our main concern was the smell of a decaying mouse and this was overwhelming as we could not bring ourselves to eat there. We had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute, which added to our stress and expenses.
I would not recommend this property to anyone until the owner addresses these issues and takes necessary steps to ensure a clean and comfortable stay for guests.

The property was ideal size for our mini break. There were plenty of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc. Everything was clean and modern. The breakfast provisions were a nice gesture. Prompt response to queries.

The beds were relatively comfortable that was it! The room was gross. The bathroom was awful and dirty. It smelled strongly of urine. The grounds were unkempt and just looked neglected. Would never recommend! I'm

in bold letters it stated main feature there was a hot tub. There was not.
The way i was treated when i contacted them was appalling and unprofessional. They refused any accountability or compensation.
i will actually be taking it further. i’ve been using booking.com for at least 10 years and never had this experience!

The main attraction in Beerwah is Australia Zoo but we actually skipped the zoo this time and opted out for a quieter and more peaceful trip. There are so many beautiful landscapes and walks to enjoy in the area and it's only a short drive to Maleny or Montville as well. If you are seeking a relaxing experience, I'd definitely recommend visiting those two little towns. We enjoyed the Thai Restaurant in Maleny and strolls through the streets of Montville followed by a hearty lunch at The Edge Restaurant. We also visited the Botanic Gardens & Bird Sanctuary in Maleny which was AMAZING!

Good location for Goasshouse Mountains bush walking.
Good location for Goasshouse Mountains bush walking.
Very old fit outs in the room. Mould in the shower, spider webs in bathroom, roughly painted walls with paint on the carpet, torn cover on the lounge, noisy ceiling fan.
On the plus side: clean sheets and towels. Way over priced for the run down condition of the whole venue.

The closest town to the wonderful and world famous Australia Zoo, Beerwah is a handy and friendly location to stay and enjoy the variety of experiences that the Glass House Mountains region offers! There’s so much on offer - from amusement parks and go karts, to tree top walks and REAL mountain climbing, it is an area for both young and old, families and couples, singles and groups. You could stay for years and not run out of things to do and see and there are a number of cafes, Art galleries and gift shops to explore daily and various markets on the weekends. We chose a farm stay at BLACK WATTLE FARM and will definitely going back! We enjoyed the quiet of the bush, farm fresh produce, white sand beaches, mountain coffee, Maleny Dairy and of course the iconic Australia Zoo.

Our delightful hosts, Sonia & Phil, were very welcoming and only too happy to accommodate us, despite the very short notice given. Their property is located in tranquil surrounds & they provided an extremely generous (& delicious!) full breakfast. We cannot recommend highly enough. 11/10!!

Beerwah is a beautiful peaceful little town, so relaxing & has such a nice vibe! Beautiful scenery & location with plenty to do around the area especially if you are looking to get out into nature or just relax with the family.
An unexpected sanctuary for our overnight stay in Beerwah. Phil & Sonia are genuinely warm & friendly hosts. Felt like we were meeting up with some old friends. The accomodation was extremely comfortable. Bed very comfy & well equipped bathroom. Huge delicious breakfast cooked on the bbq by Phil kept us going all day. Loved the outdoor pavilion & peaceful outlook onto the garden. It is certainly a retreat & perfect spot for a Beerwah stopover or longer stay in this gorgeous area
Yes, it's on the older side. But the rooms were very clean and tidy. The staff were fantastic and very friendly. Considering its on a busy road, the rooms were very quite.
Great location. Only 5 mins drive from Beerwah town (lots of food options) and 10 mins to Australia Zoo.
Would definitely stay there again.
