There was a mix up with the room type booked. The person at the front desk offered a second room at substantial discount on a second room for my travelling partener.

The location is easily accessible, but on the main road so a little noisy. The facilities are very basic, but the mattress was comfortable enough. Bring your own pillow! Shower had decent pressure. Staff were nice about us arriving late.

great town for a weekend - not just visiting the track and museum at the track but the town itself beautiful gardens and the layout of the city is very easy to walk around and plenty of shops if thats your thing

I was visiting my very ill sister so I didn't get to enjoy Bathurst as much as I would like to have. However what I did experience I thoroughly enjoyed, Ben Chifley Motor Inn, Country Coffee & the wonderful staff at St Catherine's Nursing Home who look after my sister Gail, also the taxi drivers.

Definately find accommodation in walking distance to the main street next time

i would recommend this property to anyone with a family looking for an enjoyable stay in the area.

Beautiful heritage real estate, a lovely Central Park and Mount panorama. Shopping opportunities are limited as are eateries after 5 pm. Easy to walk around and park - lovely wide streets built for horse and carriages. A lovely regional art gallery and Doppio Bathurst is a great spot to grab a coffee on route from the train station to town. Al Denté is a great cafe in town for wholesome options for breakfast and lunch - opens very early and you can read the local rag.

I was at Bathurst for work.
I was at Bathurst for work. The view I had from my hotel room was the famous Bathurst racing track. which was lovely to look out on too.
I didn't get much time to explore and would like to visit again so I can take in more of the charming old town. People were very friendly, and everything was pretty close by, I ate at the George Pub as the food was so lovely, and The Ridges wasn't serving dinner on the Sunday and Monday nights I was staying.
I would definitely recommend a visit to Bathurst, and I will also visit again and hopefully will get to stay longer.

Small updated older hotel, rooms upstairs with separate door access from the street, easy check in procedure. Large clean and comfortable room, considered extras with great shared new contemporary bathrooms and self server coffee pods at reception was a lovely and considerate touch as finding an early Sunday breakfast isn't easy in Bathurst.
I think it was just wonderful and everything I would expect from a higher end hotel. Definitely there is nothing more in the Bathurst area that is even close to the standard of accommodation. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful and this is my go to when I ever I'm in Bathurst.
Excellent service (check in after hours) and very spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable room. We will definitely stay at the Bathurst Motor Inn again in the future!
