Love this place. We love the spa that's practically in the room,it's actually in the bathroom and divided by shutters that you can fully open and pretty much makes it the Center of the room and you can watch TV from the spa.
You can cast whatever's on your phone to the really cool Samsung TV.
Parking downstairs has two levels and you can always find a park.
The place has a pretty good view of the river and a little Marina and part of town.
Whenever we go we happen to get it at a really good price under $300 which we think is pretty good.
Ballina is a really nice town and the Ramada is very close to the Town Centre and a couple hundred metres away from the RSL which is a great place for lunch or dinner.
We'll be back.

The staff were exceptional. So accommodating and friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.
The rooms were faultless. The door out to the verandah was an added bonus and a great spot to sit.
We ate dinner at the restaurant, which we all thought was excellent and great value for money. The food was delicious and again the staff here were fantastic.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to going back again soon.

It was great for a long drive from Sydney with my 2 kids. I was slightly worried when I got there it being on a main Rd. Didn't hear a thing. The lady working their was very nice and very friendly and we felt so welcome. The shower was so nice and powerful it was better than my one at home. The bed was comfy and we all slept so well. It was great there was a pool there too. I'd make a regular stop over on trips to and from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast .

Regularly stop overnight in Ballina on our way to Qld. Plenty of accommodation and restaurants (Great Indian Restaurant)
Note. The Big Prawn is just that an oversize fibreglass Prawn on the side of the road. The cafe has been closed for years which is a shame as they use to sell awesome prawn rolls and the owner would give you free lychees when in season.

The North Rivers area of NSW has the best weather in the world. Great beaches; an excellent, friendly golf club and some top notch restaurants with quality produce, within a 30 minute drive as well in Ballina.
Mile upon mile of pristine beaches with hardly a soul on them - paradise.
A great place to whale watch from the shore or on a tour.

Ballina was. A good break for us. We liked to rest on good beds before hiking or walking in the day. Our destinations ( after exploring Ballina were only half to one hour away). We loved the local bakery around the corner. Great breakfast wraps!
We will definitely come back to Ballina and the hotel.

Recommend you pass by, try a different town.
Recommend you pass by, try a different town. Arrived after 18.00 to find all reception offices closed in almost all hotels. only telephone and internet contact . 30 minutes standing in the rain at the last hotel trying to get the key that was in a lockbox. Ended up in a kitchen / passageway with a bed no locks on the doors.

Simple contactless check-in.
Old house is very charming but still clean and modernised where necessary. Room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was better than we were expecting. Dining and lounge area downstairs also nice. Location great for parking, and walkable to Ballina town.
We made the right choice staying here instead of paying double for something worse in busy Byron Bay.
For our group, this was a really great property as there are basically two self contained flats within! The outside space was great, there was even a water dragon who demanded some banana! It was close to the centre of Ballina, plus I'm a keen runner and it was easy to get to the seafront for a morning run. Kitchen was fully equipped so we could choose to cook or eat out.
The location was good for our destination event (a funeral) We weren't looking for luxury accommodation, just a comfortable and clean place to sleep and this hotel/motel didn't disappoint. For a 3 star hotel, it was value for money. The staff were friendly and we asked for an early checkin and they were happy to oblige.
Liked the spot beside the river and the interior fittings with the restaurant as part of the complex. Found the facilities easy to negotiate and enjoy. Ballina is a good central place to visit Byron Bay, Lennox Head etc.
