We had a late check in (2200hrs) which we had notified staff. After hours check-in instructions were easy to understand. On arrival staff had turned our heater on (winter arrival) so the cabin was so warm. It was much appreciated after 7hrs of driving.
Cabin was very clean and tidy. Has everything a family requires.

When arriving the weather was awful and the original tiny home we were in had water on the floor. We messaged the host and were quickly moved and they couldn’t do enough for us. There were loads of wildlife in the surroundings, the kangaroos were great to watch playing in the vines. Love the complimentary bottle of wine which we enjoyed in front of the fire. Great stay would love to return in summer when we can make more use of the outdoor area and warmer weather.

The tiny home was presented very well, had an amazing outlook. The two staff that we met at the cellar door were very hospitable and welcoming, the place itself was very comfortable. Would definitely be recommending the place to others

It was a good a good base for two nights (we booked an extra night) because it is easy drive to Halls Gap to walk in the Grampians and also tour around the area. Ararat has a museum, art gallery and delightful gardens to walk through. Has retained lot of Art Deco buildings which gives it a lovely ambience.

Local interesting history, being the JWard prison and Ararat Lunatic Asylum - both worth a visit. Town centre has ample cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes, and shopping to suit all interests. Short drive to Stawell, Halls Gap and Grampians. An interesting and worthwhile place to visit.

Easy to walk around the town, restaurants within easy walk.
Easy to walk around the town, restaurants within easy walk. The Alexandra Gardens were beautiful to wander around and with a cafe as well. The Chinese heritage building was worth a visit with kids, they tried gold panning, dressed up and wrote their names in calligraphy while learning a little bit about the history of the town. A few restaurants looked ok in the main street, we chose Khoon Thai and certainly werent disappointed.

There are a couple of wonderful restaurants.
There are a couple of wonderful restaurants. From 7 pubs to two, this is disappointing. Wonderful gardens, museums, architecture and local history. Grampians and vineyards for miles. Fratin brothers at cathcart; their Rosè is to die for. Great shopping.
We stopped at Ararat on our trip from regional Victoria to Portland, as Ararat was about midway. At G'day Parks we stayed in a cabin which was quote new... very clean and very comfy, aircon working perfectly, all good. On the way there we travelled on a Monday. Unfortunately we couldn't find a place there for our return trip because it was a Friday. We assume it was all the weekenders... G'day is good value.
The room was clean and had all the things you'd expect in a Hotel Room.
I found the area the Hotel was in was not noisy which was good.
The people who ran the Hotel were helpful and accommodating and made you feel you were welcome there.
Central location in Ararat. The rooms was spacious and had everything we needed. Plus the pub at the front offers great pub meals at reasonable prices. The hosts are super fiendly.
IT’s Ararat, not much else happening. If you’re going to pull out the 5 star treatment, this place is perfect for the location of the town centre and thats all.
