Great Glamping experience. Good location. Enjoyed walking down to see the kangaroos.
We had a relaxing family holiday at Anglesea. The location of the holiday park right next to the beach and river meant we barely had to get in the car. It’s an excellent location for kids with many different activities. The beds in the cabins were so comfortable too!

A beautiful beachside suburb surrounded by bushland & minutes away from the Great Ocean Road. Adequate options for food & drink though they vary in standard however all are top $$ for what one gets.

Anglesea is a stunning beachside town about an hour from Melbourne and half an hour form Geelong. The beach is the absolute draw card which means the town can get particularly busy during Summer and peak holidays times such as long weekends. Anglesea has an abundance of different beaches and walking tracks as well as a range of native animals and birds. There are a range of coffee shops, gift shops, restaurants a supermarket, pub and bowls and surf club all within walking distance.

A quiet sleepy place.
A quiet sleepy place. More of a stopover (which is what we used it for) than a destination. However, I can imagine that it would be good for surfers. The beach was beautiful, but the water was cold. Does the 'Southern Ocean' ever get warm? (we visited in Feb)

Anglesea is a very special gem of a place at the beginning of the Great Ocean Road. There are so many things to do - golf and kangaroo tours with drinks or dinner afterwards; stunning beach walks; great dining at Love House in the Surf Club with million dollar views and good shopping in the town centre. Fortunately, having a relaxing and affordable time in Anglesea isn’t restricted by the weather. All it’s missing is a bookshop. But at least there are a number of excellent coffee offerings.

This is a neat comfortable well positioned simple motel.
This is a neat comfortable well positioned simple motel. The swimming pool desperately needs some kind of shade and furniture - nothing whatever to sit on. Plus some hooks in the bathroom please!
We strongly recommend d the nearby Coast restaurant for an excellent meal.

Absolutely everything. It’s stunning. The entire place is spotless. It has everything including a restaurant and bar
The landscaping is gorgeous. The freshly baked bread, Aussie jam and local butter were winners! So much attention to detail and care taken. Would recommend this hotel to everyone. Would definitely stay here again.
Best place we stayed along the Great Ocean Road trip by far! Well done to everyone at The Great Ocean Road Resort
Well appointed two storey , two bedroom town house. Located on the Great Ocean Road a few minutes drive from the centre of Anglesea, the property has everything required including cutlery, crockery, oven and cooktop, microwave are refrigerator (but BYO linen and towels). There is a nice outdoor sitting area, with table and six chairs and a barbecue.
It's a great park for families with kids young and old. There is plenty to do at the park, and it's a short walk to the Anglesea shops. The cabins are clean and well maintained. We are definitely coming back!
Clean and tidy, nice decor, on-site swimming pool, carpark in front of apartment, 800m walk to ocean, walking tracks to Anglesea village to buy cheap breakfast & lunch, Coles express next door.
Location very walkable and beautifully situated on the Anglesea River. Excellent birdwatching! B and B had everything I needed for a lovely stay and the hosts were very accommodating.
