The whole facility was nothing like the photos. Very small.

Really welcoming staff. Decent price. Rooms a little dated but well maintained and cleaned. Great, secure location
Albury is a beautiful old town. Travel the backstreets and see some delightful old buildings. The towwn is clean and the streetsnice and wide with plentiful trees. It was a little difficult finding good restaurants as we like to check menu before eating. I think restaurants should make an effort to sell themselves better. Had a lovely meal at an Indian/Eastern restaurant and another at a Thai/Chinese one attached to a motel.

We have only stayed in Albury a few nights years ago for a wedding and then I night while travelling elsewhere, but it seems a lovely place to stay longer - we did go to see the war memorial on the hill which is pretty spectacular at night. Plan to stay longer next time.

Albury is a friendly, tidy town without metered parking and has a huge range of cafes, restaurants and retail outlets of all types. The station and airport are other assets that could be utilised on a holiday as they are very close to the city centre.

Albury is a lovely place with a lot of history.
Albury is a lovely place with a lot of history. This stay, we visited the Star Hotel - a modest hotel not far away, and were thrilled with the meal we had, and the price we paid. A Family place, very popular and seemed to have people of all ages, including babies, eating there for tea. We'd go there again too....

there are heaps of motels to choose from and generally speaking they are all quite good. Some of them also offer free continental breakfast. Albury is a wonderful freshen up stop between Sydney and Melbourne. Also Albury offers a wide variety of takeaways and cafes and bars.

Albury is a beautiful clean and well ordered town.
Albury is a beautiful clean and well ordered town. Fabulous heritage buildings everywhere. Good gallery/museum precinct, lots of places to eat (I recommend Norma) good coffee and the beautiful Murray. Highly recommend a visit to Bonegilla Migrant Centre a short drive away and a visit to the Hume Dam. Will return to this friendly, clean town.

Great dog friendly room, very spacious, excellent bed and fantastic location. Loved all the amenities (most motels do not provide mini shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser!) The welcome pack of apple juice, biscuits and bottled water is a bonus and was appreciated. The hosts are fantastic. Hotel is walking distance to the shops. There is a dog friendly pub 350m away so that was a bonus as we could walk to dinner and take the 4-legged with us. We are already planning our next trip and will book Meramie again.
Modern apartment hotel in old wool store building in central Albury. Nice lobby with original artworks, free undercover parking. Studio apartment was a good size with kitchenette and bathroom. Good bed and linen. Location excellent for shopping and dining.
Clean room & plenty of space. Ample parking on site and short walk to the centre of Albury...hotel across the road and SSA Club directly behind (become a member $2.20) enjoy all discounts & Happy Hour 4-6pm weekdays
Updating of the old hotel has been done quite well. Big rooms. Lovely staff - immediately attende to our problem with lighting in our room while we were out. Convenient location in the centre of Albury.
The vibes of the hotel were great, close to the pub and the location was good for a nights stop off on the way to Melbourne. Room was basic but provided everything that was needed for a nights stay.
