We arrived late and needed info re a good restaurant in walking distance. Was told the restaurant at Dog Rock had won awards (by reception staff) . Agreed to go as so close to room. Was totally blown away by food and staff. Was absolutely worth the 30 metre walk - what a bonus as we were very tired. Food and staff exceptional

We have a number of MUSTS when we visit - Jo-Joes fir the best pizza in Australia; Earl on Spencer for their legendary Guiness pie and pint plus live music and atmosphere; Hooked on Middleton for their mackerel and chips. That leaves out Due South and the Sunday markets at the port and also the ANZAC Memorial display which are all outstanding.
Also we played lawn bowls at Middleton Beach and also the Albany clubs. People were friendly and welcoming.

Stunning picturesque city with many outdoor activities and facilities for all. The Middleton Beach Board walk continue as to be a high light for an early working work out with ocean views, aqua clear waters and historic information on route. Each mornings count of skinks sunning on the warning tarmac path noted.

Really enjoyed the historic precinct near the harbour. National Anzac centre brilliant - recommend it. Excellent restaurant Garrison near it. Been to Albany a few times over the years and will be back.

Albany is a lovely town on the south coast & the weather is balmy. Lots of services such as specialists, opticians, dentists as well as a good variety of shops & cafes/restaurants. Beautiful weather most of the time, with a good sea breeze in the afternoons.

I love the old world feel of the Albany townsite and was able to ride my electric bike to many of the Cafe's. The food was great and Dylan's Cafe had the best cakes you could ask for. Very fresh and different. Lots of Museums to explore and the Whaling Station Museum is definitely a must to visit but allow 4 hours as it also has a Botanical Garden and small Wildlife Park which is included in the admission price. The Whaling Station has an awesome Cafe with good food and an amazing view over the ocean. The bike pathway from Middleton beach to Emu Point is great fun and you arrive at a great Cafe in Emu Point.

After a week of various types of accommodation this one was our favorite. Hotel rooms are okay but they lack the comfort of a full sized sofa and a super kitchen with everything you need for a happy stay. Full sized fridge, large oven, microwave and a decent TV. Onsite parking as well as a balcony or court yard. Very clean. Only 400m to Middleton beach.
A great stay at Country Comfort Amity Hotel with a clean and tidy room and the basic essentials. A good location being only a short drive to the shops and local attractions. The laundry was a life saver and was included in our stay. Would recommend when staying in Albany.
The unit is clean and comfortable, walking distance to Middleton beach and some nice cafe near by, Owner were very friendly and helpful, free parking just right in front of the unit, will definitely book with them again when we visit Albany again
Beautiful location within walking distance of the amazing white sands of middleton beach. I am originally from Albany and dont often get the chance to stay in holiday accomodation so it was a lovely break.
Modern spacious apartments with ample parking and walking distance to beautiful Middleton Beach as well as some cool cafes and eateries. Recommend this location and establishment for an Albany stay.
