A very comfortable hotel well located in the Austrian mountains. We had a large and comfortable room with a beautiful sight of the surrounding mountains. Good breakfast and evenning dinners. The hotel staff was very friendly and willing to help. The hotel is worth recommending.

Host was nice, polite and super helpful, giving us tips for hikes, restaurants and whatnot.
We even tried the breakfast, since the price was much more reasonable than in other facilities in the area and were really surprised how tasty it was, everything prepared by the host itself. :)

This was my second year staying at Apartment Winkler and once again I had a superb time. The Winkler family are very friendly and always happy to help out. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The room has a fridge and cooker so you can cook but the local restaurants are so good why would you. For me the best thing was to wake up in the morning and open the curtains to a stunning view of the Alps.
Located 1,500 metres from the Steinplatte Cable Car, but only a few minutes' walk to the ski bus stop and the local supermarket, Haus Alpenrose in Waidring is owned by an English family who also...

The location was very good. Having a supermarket exactly opposite wad very convenient
Waidring is a peaceful, friendly town. The town is so clean and tidy, mainly because the locals are proud of where they live. There is plenty of things to do, you can hike, climb and cycle to your hearts content. Alternatively you can just lie back on a sum lounger and breathe in the mountain air.

wasn't the best time to go due to covid but i'm glad we did it suited us as a couple it was amazing riding through the mountains [ motorbike ]
and then the view from our balcony was fantastic
waildring was quiet but that was just fine it probably would have been more populated if not for covid
first time in austria but enjoyed our stay so much planning a return trip with out the motorbike
not much open so can't say how lively it might have been

Great after ski at Zardinis & the food was excellent there too.
Parking available, spacious and comfortable room, lovely view from the balcony, very good breakfast buffet. A short walk to the gondola and ski hire. Great food in the nearby restaurants.

The hotel is perfectly located, very quiet during the day and at night, the staff is very friendly, everything is very clean, the hotel looks brand new and modern. The rooms are warm and spacious, with a large balcony. All work at the hotel is perfectly organized.
Amazing views from rooms, staff made us feel very welcome, lovely spa and outdoor pool, couldn’t fault the hotel or facilities, great location . food nice , especially the breakfast buffet.
