Great location for a skiing holiday if you don't mind being away from shops, bars etc. Nearest restaurant is about 20mins walk up the mountain. On the other hand it's quite a nice place to be "stuck" in, has a warm relaxed vibe, the facilities are great and the staff super friendly. Pizzas are very good!

Stuhleck skiing resort (Spital an Semmering) is a good place for a day - or a weekend escape. Even with big problems with snow in march in higher areas in the mountains in 2020 we found there snow to ski.Yeah! Beautiful landscape, good infrastructure. Good and pleasant atmosphere.
Of course minus is the places to eat are becoming more and more expensive, not mentioning the ski-passes prices

Fantastic, close to river, in forest, amazing pool, with clean water, and 31 degrees temperature, bar service, and spotlessly clean enviroment. Quiet and peaceful place, beautiful rooms, very nice host. We spend short weekend here, but we will definitely come back in future. We also liked, that place is above Spital am Semmering, and is walking distance to City center (if you like walking)
the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in, staff was very nice, helpfull, the breakfast was complex, the dinner was always delicious, always some vegetables, they were willing to prepare vegeatarian dishes for my wife, great position for skiers, well heated and clean ski locker room, the whole building was such clean that you can really eat from the floor, we will come back for sure

there is a good restaurant int he hotel - literally almost the only one open mid week. The local food is 👍🏻
nice little hotel, convenient for skiing. The bed was super comfy. Fantastic breakfast, one of the best I’ve ever seen (the reviews do not lie 😊 ) a lot of local farm products and homemade stuff served for breakfast.
