Excellent location, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating! The rooms are a good size and are comfortable and clean. The meals were also delicious! Highly Highly recommend!!

Excellent. Variety of all kinds of local food. The staff also prepares fresh eggs in case this is desired. Rooms are wooden and rustic. My room had a balkony.
The place is quiet although it is situated besides the main road. One access point to Ski resort is just down the road (3 mins by car).
The boss is warmhearted, so is the (other) staff. One feels safe and welcome.
The place makes a good fit for families (I am writing this, although I travelled alone), with a swing and some art work that surrounds the place.
As a former local of the village (Soell) I can add that there are a couple of nice places for eat outs. Though not having been out, the place used to have (and I am sure it still have) plenty of opportunity for Apres Ski given the small size of the village (there at least used to be 4 locations that are open until late within the common winter vacation days).
Featuring mountain views, Au Pension offers accommodation with balcony, around 22 km from Golfclub Kitzbühel Schwarzsee. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.

Söll is a really lovely Alpine Village/Town with plenty of Restaurants and a few Bars. I found though that the Restaurants on the main are very high end and can be quite expensive, even if you just want something simple.
The Irish Bar was our main evening haunt and some nights they had music and the craic was absolutely 90, great, friendly and very helpful staff and did some very good pub grub Pizza etc. Great spot.
Now.... when will Austria realise that their Banks are crippling their businesses as most of the establishments only take cash and dont accept Card Payments, which all Europe is moving to, I understand the businesses not offering this as they are crippled by Bank Charges, I say, move your bank to one that is reasonable and punch back. When you go to the bank to get the cash the tourist then has to pay these ridiculous charges. Sort it Austria, a country I love to visit and have done for many years.

We travelled to meet family.
We travelled to meet family. We were taken to local restaurants which were varied and of an excellent standard selling both traditional food and usual menu items.
Good local supermarkets with a wide variety of provisions, good transport links locally.
Mountains accessible from nearby gondola stations.
Visited in the Summer. Would now like to visit in the winter.

Soll is such a friendly place.
Soll is such a friendly place.
We have stayed here many times, and have been to many other countries and resorts, but always like to visit Soll every year.
The restaurants serve delicious food as do the many hotels we have stayed in. There is quick and easy access to the gondola and it is easy to locate a ski hire shop within the village.
The vast skiing area provides excellent skiing for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers.

Great place easy to get to from Munich (1.5hr), rent a car, or go by train. Both very afforadable.
Town is small but with plenty to do and everywhere is walking distance especially to the Gondola itself. Free bus to and from throughout the day and apart from that you will likely walk everywhere.
Food is fine, nightlife is good, not crazy apres, but plenty of life about the place.
Snow was good in mid Feb, I have been twice at this time of year. Trick to go midweek or over a Thurs to Sat I would suggest as sat and sun is very busy with local skiers.
Cost overall is reasonable €4 beers.

We have been to Söll many times, for hiking, and just love the location. There are many hiking routes of different levels. This year, however, the ticket price for the cable car has increased dramatically. You cannot just purchase a one way ticket. This is annoying as we always take the cable car up the mountain and walk down. Other than that, I can highly recommend Söll/Wilder Kaiser region. The scenery is fabulous.

Very friendly and flexible couple who owns the house (who themselves live on the lower floor and upper floors). Do not expect super luxurious stay, but all the basics are available. The ski bus stops around the corner or you could talk a walk to the gondola station a few km across the village.
The couple can be easily reached for any questions. We would definitely come again if we would go on ski holiday in Söll again!
Tip: go to the ski rental across the street called Mayr. Very nice guy and also extremely flexible.
Bauernhof Strasserhof was the only affordable accommodation in Soll. It was great to stay with Eva and her family in a functioning farm, they were lovely people. This place is a 30 minute walk from Soll, which was fine to walk off dinner. The bus to the ski lift was great!
Exceptional location all benefits of the hotel but in the private shale. Gorgeous views, a quiet place but very close to the village and the ski lifts. Exceptional service super clean and comfortable.
Easy check in and check out, beds are comfortable, plenty parking spaces outside the hotel. Quiet relaxed location. Ski bus stops not far from the property.
