Our apartment was close to town and the station in Scharnitz. Great for self catering and there is a small supermarket nearby. Very comfortable with a balcony too. Elena , the host, was very attentive and helpful.

Everything, from on our way to the interiors, exteriors, the location is breathtaking. Considering it was a summer season (July), the weather was really pleasant. The stream of the river/isar was soothing, and the smell of the trees around felt like we were part of nature. The staff were very hospitable , and it felt like we went back home to our parents' vacation home. Brigitt picked us up from the train station even if we arrived late, and she also dropped us back to the train station when we checked out. We loved the amazing hospitality of this lodging.

We spent in Frankenhof Hotel 5 nights. I liked everything - cosy and clean room with nice view of mountains, very good breakfast, close proximity to the cable car in Seefeld and Mittenwald (Karwendel) and very hospitable hostess! I definitely recommend the Frankenhof Hotel to those who want to spend a good holiday in the area near to Karwendel National Park.

Location. We visit 2x the scharnitzer Alm. Only 20 min away. Easy walking. The price was very reasonable for our room. Great big fridge and the entire apartment big enough for 3 people.
