It's beautiful, and a good base for trekking and cycling.

It's beautiful, and a good base for trekking and cycling. You don't need to drive around once you get there. A good idea to book tables for the evening, watch out for closing days, but you won't have to walk or cycle far to get delicious wine and food. Many Heurigers don't publish opening hours because they are pretty flexible, especially early or late in the season. Make a note of locations and phone numbers before you go, and take the advice of your hosts on what is or isn't open.
