We had a wonderful stay at Seeblick-Appartements at Ossiach lake! The host went above and beyond, even providing a baby bed for our seven-month-old daughter. The serene environment, combined with a stunning view over the lake, made for a perfect getaway.

This hotel is on the water front which is its main attraction. The rooms was modern although the aircon seemed 'limited'.
Staff were very polite and helpful and could not be faulted.

Nice place but too small. Its for relax if you are kind of "stay at place" people. Nature great, but to much privat grounds around the lake. No walk way right next to the lake. Like it is f.e. at Bled lake.
Its sit and enjoy the view, air and peace.

Very easy to do cycle trips ; lots of trails and also easy to cycle round the lake (ca 23km). Also easy to do walks. Swimming in the lake was wonderful.
Reservations definitely need to be done as far in advance as possible during high season for restaurants in the evening. We were astonished how many restaurants were full.
Klagenfurt easy to reach (by car) and Villach easy to reach (by bike) for trips in the towns.

The lake offers a lot.
The lake offers a lot. Hiking and visiting sights nearby is great. The bike tour around the lake was awesome too despite the rainy weather. There's a short hike to three waterfalls which is totally fine and also doable for kids.
For vegetarians it might be a bit tougher to find a good place to eat. Options are limited and during the main season all tables might be reserved in advance. Planning ahead might also be a good idea when visitors want to rent bikes.
Both the bikes (bike point Ossiach) and the food (Stiftsschmiede, Allegro) were of good quality though and the people are really friendly in this region.
Location is outstanding on the edge of the lake (no private lake access, but we knew this in advance).
Room was beautiful (deluxe double): spacious, modern, clean, light. Very comfortable.
The two ladies on hotel reception were outstanding : friendly and very helpful.
The setting also had a very special charm: its different !
The hotel is in a very nice place with a fabulous view through the balcony: tasty food and very friendly staff. We have been there only for one night, but for sure would come back. Thanks a lot!
