The Sportalm was amazing. The hotel is beautiful, well designed, great views, and fantastic food and service. The food is excellent, with breakfast, a 3pm after ski snack, and a 5 course dinner. We loved selecting our dinner each morning, the daily soup is soooo good. The Chestnut soup is a stand out. The service is fast, efficient, but not intrusive. The bar is well designed with very creative drinks. We loved this place, I'd move in if I had the choice. Nice sauna, complete weight and exercise room, 5 min drive to the ski area(s)...if your going to Pitztal, this is the place to stay.
Hotel Gundolf is located at the end of the Pitz Valley, 1.2 mi away from the Pitztal Glacier. It offers rooms with balcony and a free ski bus service. Rooms are individually furnished.
