Breakfast was a real treat. Very well stocked with a variety of items and if you wanted they would cook you eggs.
The beach experience is wonderful. We even went over int he rain. So clean and well maintained and even though it was cold water other clients enjoyed a swim in the lake. Fun boats and peddle boats. Excellent chaise lounges and umbrellas.

Close to the lake and public access to swimming spot. Free entrance to the beach with a voucher from the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. The owner called the restaurant across the street and got us a table. The restaurant was very good and we had a wonderful meal next to the lake.

It’s location directly on the lake, the large terrace on the lake, where, weather permitting, the tables are set for breakfast and dinner. Lovely dinners, served at the table. Friendly staff, great cook, mostly young people at work.

The view was really nice, the apartment was ok but we were unable to sleep due to guests with baby and kids, you could hear everything. The apartment need update, the shower is really uncomfortable. For this price there are better places, cause although the location is good, the lake entrance from the property is across the street and not very confortable, so we ended up driving everywhere.

Millstatt is a very nice area. I think especially in summer it is nice. In winter (which is when we were there) it is not so crowded. The location is well situated between several ski area's all within 20-40 min driving distance

Millstatt is a quaint town with direct access to the lake.
Millstatt is a quaint town with direct access to the lake. It's most likely suited to families due to the amount of children that are present at the lakeside bathing areas. If you enjoy hiking, then it's a great place to start from; only 30 mins drive (sometimes on toll roads) to the base of a few mountains. The town has the amenities you need, such as a supermarket and a few restaurants, but not a lot more. There are very few bars if you would like to go for a drink in the evening, so make sure you head to the supermarket earlier in the day! In addition, the town feels slightly overcrowded in the summer months, so you need to make sure that you reserve your table for dinner a day or two ahead; there are also few places that could accommodate us on a walk-in basis. In summary, a great town, but lacking in the required facilities.

Perfect location for families.
Perfect location for families. The lake is fabulous, super clean water, nice beaches (approx. 3 - 4 EUR). Less tourists than at Ossiacher See where we planned to go originally. Many possibilities in close surronding especially with Karten card. Highly recommended!!!!

Good choice of Accommodation for all pockets.
Besides a variety of eating experiences and cultural events.
Best visited in summer and early autumn to maximise the excellent facilities and areas to visit.
Beautiful location with picturesque view of the lake from the balcony, beautiful huge flat with balconies, so comfortable and spacious and excellent value. Better to stay here above the lake than on the crowded and overpriced shore. The lake, the Nockberge biosphere park, Gurktal, Maltatal are easily accessible by car and there are walks up to Lammersdorfer Alm from the hotel. The owner is very helpful, though you note that you can only communicate with her in German and you need to pay in cash.
Best accommodation i have ever have. The hotel was new renovated, very clean, silent and very well located just near the lake. I can only advise. Magnificent! Many lovely thanks for Hotel Team!
Some of the staff were very helpful, but others were not. The upper management were generally helpful. The building was traditional Austria.. The food was good.
