We booked apartments not far from a ski lift. It is possible to go there by feet. The hotel was not cheap, but it was a single available option at the entire Damüls region. There is an awesome local restaurant. It seems it is the best restaurant at the Mellau village.
The location was excellent - a 5-10 minute walk to town centre or Mellaubahn lift station. Ski lockers at Mellaubahn were very convenient. Ski hire at Mellaubahn also quick and easy. The apartment was clean, spacious and very quiet, with very little passing traffic.
We liked our spacious room and the pool. The location of the hotel is ideal to discover the area.
The staff was very friendly and helpful until the end
