Apart from the really incredible location …. everything about Haus Patricia is first class. It’s our second stay there in two years and hopefully not our last! Our hosts Melinda and Kevin (not forgetting the newest addition to their family, their lovely dog Vaya) are so anxious to ensure every one of their guests has a great time. No stone is left unturned in making our stay absolutely perfect. Breakfast is wonderful. Boiled eggs with happy faces, the freshest tastiest bread rolls ever and such a wonderful selection of cold meats, cheeses and home produced jams. The beds are really comfortable with crisp white bedlinen and everything is kept super sparkling clean. They even provide a night light and extra sockets for all our electrical appliances. Kevin is so talented for all the maintenance and Melinda is an absolutely perfect hostess.

Lofer is a beautiful small town with a lot to offer...
Lofer is a beautiful small town with a lot to offer surrounded by big mountains. There is everything you need, great public transportation and kind people. We visited multiple glens and took a cable car for a trip above Lofer. Unfortunately we had bad weather for the whole stay, so we didn't try the outdoor pool, but i'm sure it's also very lovely.

Fully furnished ground floor apartment in a beautiful family house. Each room has its own bathroom and toilet. From the terrace in front of the apartment there is a view of the surrounding mountains. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The ski lift in Lofer is accessible on foot (about 800 m). There is also a Spar nearby. Highly recommended for a family skiing or hiking trip.

Beautiful Austrian market town just 40 mins from Salzburg. Whilst it's a small ski resort, it's perfect for a long weekend away. The town itself is very picturesque with lots of great options for eating and drinking.

Lofer is an excellent ski resort for families.
Lofer is an excellent ski resort for families. The ski area itself is ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers, and they have one of the best setups for children I have seen anywhere. The Ski Schule Sturm is the best I have used and the Trainers and Staff were all excellent. The mountain restaurants are reasonably priced all over. Lofer is fairly small, so everything is easily accessible by foot and quite a safe place to stay. If you want to take your children skiing and feel safe with them, then you cannot get much better than Lofer.
A friendly host and beautiful spacious apartment. Lofer is a magical place and the apartment windows open to scenic mountains. You can enjoy the calmness, greenery, a walk or picnic just next to apartment. Of cos there was so much to see between Salzberg and Zell Am See that I feel I didn't spend much time in the surrounding of the apartment. Best part of salzburg Saalachtal card which made my journey between sazlburg to zell am see free and a free cable car in Lofer.
The Hotel offered a lot of facilities, was clean, modern, well maintained, friendly and in particular family friendly. Breakfast was very good and the half board was also acceptable. Even though, the restaurant could be very busy, the staff did a good job of supporting their customers in a timely manner and were always polite despite being very stressed at times. The kegelbahn was very nice and exciting to use. A E-Auto charger was available.
We and the children immediately fell in love with the garden behind the house.
We had almost all entrances for free, thanks to Guests cards obtained at the accommodation, even cable car access to the top of the mountain in Lofer.
Absolutely great city swimming pool just around the corner. We were really surprised how beautiful the location of Lofer is.
A family, mountain hotel, run by a couple of great 85-years-old!!! owners, who are creating the specific friendly atmosphere of this place. Lovely inside, with lots of paintings on the walls, traditional furniture, etc. I will gladly return there one day.
