I made only a short, overnight stay at the hotel, but it was pleasant. The hotel is a small, family-run operation, so that one couldn't expect all the smoothness of a large establishment. I appreciated the effort of the owner to deal with the fact of my originally-scheduled late arrival and early-morning departure. With some mutual adjustments, everything turned out well.

Breakfast was great as usual. Beds are comfy. Staff is friendly.
The castle and hotel are amazing! You can look around and explore by yourself or relax at the pool area. They have their own wines and a very old wine cellar. The wines are exceptional, would recommend to try out their winetasting. We even got vouchers for it. The area is also great and the castle serves as the perfect base to explore all the cool things in the area.
The place and hotel room were amazing. I highly recommend it, and it certainly won't be my last stay at that hotel. The communication with the hotel was also excellent.
