The breakfast was great. Also, the rooms were very clean and reasonably dark to battle the insomnia :-). We very much appreciated the ability to cancel the booking to the last moment because we were fighting with sickness in our family and were not sure to the last moment, if we could come. A very large room, clean and well decorated, nice walk in shower in the bathroom. A 5min walk into town for food and drinks. We parked our m/cycles across the the road under cover parking area.

Location is ideal, close to historic centre of Klagenfurt. Close to many local restaurants, cafe and bars. Jacqueline at reception was very helpful and resolved issues with air conditioning in my room. You need more people like her in your hotel.

This is a very old castle on the edge of the little lake with beautiful vintage charm. You almost feel like on the film set. Considering the building is very old, the rooms are comfortable. Quite spacious with many original features. Don’t expect super clean modern comfort but beds are a good size and comfortable. We loved old staircases and mysterious corridors.
