The accommodation is beautiful and cosy, we only needed it for one day. There is a shared bathroom and kitchen. The owner is kind, flexible and helpful. I recommend it mainly for young people or campers, not bad for a transit. Good value for money.

I highly recommend this place! The location is absolutely perfect, just a stone's throw away from the ski slope. The room was spacious, tidy, and provided all the comforts we needed. Very helpful and hospitable owners, flexible, smooth communication in English. The host provided us with the Phyrn-Priel Active Card for all days of our stay, which we appreciated. The location of Gästehaus Fortuna is ideal - near to grocery shop and to restaurants, still very quiet. Ideal to go around Hinterstoder or to drive to Vorderstoder or Spital.

I like this place very much.
I like this place very much. It is a small picturesque village and perfect for skiing with children. You can walk everywhere and you will find a choice of restaurants to have a pleasant dinner. We went to Dorfstub'n, Jaidhaus and Stoda and all three were very nice. Due to Covid some of the other restaurants we called only serve own hotel guests, though. Hinterstoder is also worth a trip in summer if you like being active.

The town of Hinterstoder it's really small, just a stop...
The town of Hinterstoder it's really small, just a stop between hiking/skiing and relaxing - you reach the end of the town in 5 minutes walk..
Anyway you'll find there anything you need, from pharmacy to bank to minimarket.
In summer many hotel offer the Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard that you can use for the cable car to go up the mountain and many other discount.
Around Hinterstoder are many path to walk, in summer you can cool yourself also in the river (if water is not so cold for you :P).
A walk along the river bring you to the Kneipp-Park and to a wonderful (but small) waterfall.
Nice cozy hotel on a hill near Hinterstoder. Rooms with a mountains view, very nice staff. Standard breakfast. Choice of 3 main courses for dinner, soup and desert is also included, we liked everything.
Everything from accommodation to breakfast and facilities was fantastic. Michaela and her family helped us a lot with information about routes, where to go around the area, etc.
