We recently stayed at this hotel, and while the property itself is well-maintained and the staff incredibly friendly, our experience was marred by an unexpected and disruptive renovation project. Just before our arrival, they began renovating the outdoor swimming pool, which made mornings unbearable due to loud construction noise. The noise also drastically altered the view from our room, replacing the serene mountainscape with a construction site.
The hotel did offer a small discount for the inconvenience, but had we known about the renovation before booking, we would have considered canceling our stay entirely. Unfortunately, we weren’t given that option, which was disappointing.
On a positive note, the buffet breakfast and dinner were both enjoyable, and the property itself is charming. Still, the noise and the construction site view significantly impacted our overall experience.
