We stayed only for one night on our way back from vacation. We were assigned a lovely chalet adjacent to the property. Parking was close. The chalet was charming and made us wish we stayed longer. Very clean. All in all, it is a very nice and spacious place with a lovely restaurant.

The location is phenomenal, the pool is fantastic, the old rooms in the main house are very pleasant although the furniture now looks like Novotel furniture not like the beautiful old fashioned rooms this hotel did have. The breakfast is good but not as sophisticated and extensive as the old establishment used to offer. The food is good, however the wine offer is extensively from the Kilgers own but also mostly sub-contracted wineries which we think taste like commercial wines (a matter of opinion and taste)
The hotel has a great location with beautiful views. Our room (and the entire hotel) was spotlessly clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed the breakfast which had a huge selection and nice coffee. The wellness area and sauna were really good as well. Their wines are delicious, too. We are happy that we spent 2 nights here and will be back in the future.
The hotel is charming and the surroundings view in October is just spectacular. The staff are great and very helpful. While we were there, a 100m from the hotel is a Sturm tasting spot. It's great that we can all have a good time without leaving someone out to be the driver.
We visited Gamlitz because of a bike tour, and we choosed this accomodation because of its great location. The room was clean, the mattress was comfortable and rhe host always answerd in couple of hours.
