Everything! The bed is a nice bed and good quality where you can really get a good night sleep, pillows as well!!! It is super clean, the bathroom, the room, everything. The landlord lady (I don’t know her name) super super nice, breakfast is great and full of fresh local produce - please do not miss it when you stay - you are supportig a small business! Also the area is gorgeous, you can walk along the Danube or on top of picturesque hills.

Petra & Cristian were very warm & friendly from the beginning. The house is nice, clean & comfortable. The bedroom was very big, the bed also big & very comfortable and to have the shower & sink inside the bedroom was a plus.
Excellent breakfast, served by the hosts in an sitting area overlooking a beautiful scenery.
Unfortunately for us, all good restaurants in the area were closed on Tuesdays
Overall, we were very happy by the excellent quality of the place & friendly & helpful attitude of both, Petra & Cristian

Best location & gas Haus in all of Austria. And the food was just amazing
Hotel in a quiet location close to the river. Although by the road, with minimal traffic. Free parking. Possibility to store bikes. Fridge in the room. Very spacious room. Friendly and approachable staff. Rich breakfast. As bikers, we welcomed the printed information materials at the reception. Danube ferry very close. Engelhartszell can be recommended as a starting point for bicycle tours and the Hotel Goldenes Schiff is a very good "base camp" for them.
We had a wonderful stay in Room 103 that faced to Donau and the abbey. The room was warm enough in the cold winter and the view through the windows was astonishing. It was a pets-friendly hotel. The cleaning lady and the chef were very very nice and kind to us and our cats! Thank you!
