We only stayed one night after finishing stage one (Oberstdorf – Holzgau) of our E5 hike. The room was spacious and had a balcony. We enjoyed dinner. We left before breakfast and the friendly staff arranged a lunch and organised a taxi to the materialseilbahn of the Memminger Hütte at 07:00.

It was nice small and cozy, The food was excellent!
breath-taking views of mountains. Bach valley is so picture perfect. We went in mid-November...right before their ski season. Great hikes and mountain biking abound. Beautiful snowfall made the scenery even more perfect.

Petra made us feel very welcome and we felt at home immediately. We forgot to order breakfast but she gladly took care of it and the result was a nice selection of fresh products the next day. We also appreciated that our dog was welcome. We will surely book again!
Although the location is a bit further away form the better ski area's the location is very nicely locate din the small village of Bach. The owner is very friendly and facilities are good value for money and clean. It has authentic charm.
