I visited Sierra de la Ventana for a walking holiday,...

I visited Sierra de la Ventana for a walking holiday, although the places to walk are spread over a large geographical area, so beware choosing your accommodation as you may be a long way from certain attractions. The nearby national park was closed on the day I had planned to visit. The town itself is pretty, shops close in the afternoon but re open in the evening. I visited midweek and found catering facilities limited. I would recommend for a quiet break.
