Fading glory. The hotel is past its prime but it’s still wonderful. Fabulous location, the views are amazing, and very friendly staff. The ambience is to be enjoyed but I suspect that 20 years ago this place was exceptional. But it’s still good.

The building is nicely restored. The room was nice too. Hot water in shower without waiting for water to heat up. The staff are very personable and helpful. Parking available and located off the street behind the building.

We were the only guests at the hotel on the night we arrived. Receptionist was friendly, nice views from the room, decent breakfast served in the morning on the deck.
The hotel boasts a remarkable location where you can observe hummingbirds, yet it requires extensive upgrades and renovations, as everything is currently outdated.
