I absolutely loved this quiet little town. We wanted to use it as a base to explore other areas, but getting there and getting out means driving miles on a gravel road. So, we just stayed put and explored. Such cool moments there. The cemetery is beautiful. The restaurant beside the 'new' church is excellent. The hike to Los Colorados is great - you can drive if you'd rather. The people are so friendly, and if you wander or drive around, you'll be sure to find someone who'll give you a taste of their wine. Many seem to sell out of their homes - a much cooler experience than a big bodega!
