I had booked a double room but got a family room for the same price with sleeping places for 5 people:
a double bed, a single bed and a bunk bed. Still, with so many beds the room was spacious enough.
Also a very large and comfortable bathroom.
I had only booked for one night and wanted to stay a second night. At the end of May the hotel was not fully booked and I could stay in the same room for the same price.
I had the feeling of staying in a luxurious hostel room without fellow guests.
My room was at the front of an annex on the ground floor. The hotel is a little bit off the street and is therefore very quiet.
The extensive breakfast buffet was a great start to the day.
Walk down the street for about 10 minutes and you will arrive at a kilometer-long beach with various restaurants.
At the end of May there was hardly anyone there but from the preparations on the beach you could see that Dhërmi would get masses of visitors in the summer months.
The bus stop is on the main road from Himarë/Sarandë to Vlorë/Durrës and that means a serious climb from the hotel. The hotel could also arrange a taxi to the bus stop.
Dhërmi has a beautiful location by the sea, fairly steeply up the mountain slopes.
Old Dhërmi also seemed to me to be a bit more traditional than for instance Himarë.
Situated right next to the private pebbly Guma Beach with free sun loungers and parasols, Dhima Hotel is located about 1 km from the centre of Himare.

The hotel is located in front of the beach, there is a parking place, the employees are very helpful, smiling, kind, the hotel is very clean, every day they change the bed linen and towels. The breakfast was ok.

I liked the kitchen (maybe the best in Albania) which is not characteristic for camps in general, the location of the camp which is basically on the beach Jal, the hospitality of the stuff and the feeling of security during the stay (you can literally live every thing where you want, you will find it there). Also the presence of dogs and cats in the "jungle" of herbs and plants is magnificent. Clean.

It’s my preferred place to be in the summer time. Everything is excellent, I returned and I am glad to enjoy this place again and again. The staff lovely helpful, the place is clean, music and the people around are fantastic.👍🙏✌️
