this charming town offered everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The sandy beach was pristine, with crystal-clear waters that were perfect for swimming and lounging. Local restaurants served the freshest seafood I’ve ever tasted, caught daily by the village fishermen. The best part? The sunset views. Every evening, I found myself sitting on a bench, just soaking in the orange and pink hues as they reflected off the water. It was pure magic.

Pretty sand beaches (better find a hotel with free beach umbrellas and so on, or you have to oay for them, there is no space for free beaches).
Nice water, great restaurants, very close to Berat, Durres, Tirana, pretty sunsets and promenade.
You can get there by bus.

I have my positive experience in Golem. We were in the surrounding of Golem, but the beach is so big and i believe wherever you will stay you will have that sandy beach. The water was warm and shallow perfect for a kids vacation

The promenade is amazing, lots of restaurants and things to do for the kids. The beaches are great. The restaurants are very cheap and the food is great. I recommend ordering seafood, it is fresh and tasty.

If sun, sea and sand are your thing then this is the perfect place to relax - hotels, bars, restaurants and supermarkets are abundant along the seafront. Prices for everything are very reasonable - beers around 3-4 euros, fresh grilled fish around 10-12 euros, pizzas around 6-8 euros. It's about 45 minutes from Tirana Airport depending on traffic. There's hardly anything to do in Golem except relax in a bar, by a pool or on the beach.
Great place to stay in Golem. The apartment is located in Grand Blue Fafa hotel area but it is not a part of the hotel and trust me that is a good thing. It is cleaner, better equipped and more spacious than our room in Grand Blue Fafa Hotel (which supposed to be a 5 star hotel) in which we stayed before renting this place. Also the owner was very nice and helpful. Overall it is a shame our stay there was so short.
In modern day Albania is almost impossible to find a corner of peace, yet surprisingly we found at Prestige Resort. It wasn’t just the friendly and professional service of Dionis and the beauty of the winter sea. It seems that everyone and everything, from its concept design to each detail were gathered to offer a much needed relaxing experience!!! Thank you Prestige Resort team, we will be back!
the best stay in Albania, perfect apartment, with very good equipment, and the terrace with a sea view and a fully equipped barbecue is a masterpiece. The host was very nice and helpful. The location is very good, there are many shops and restaurants around and a 2-minute walk to the beach. I recommend everyone to stay in this apartment, you will not regret it.
