The couple that owned it were literally the nicest people I’ve ever met. She spoke a bit of English but we very easily used google translate to discuss plans. It is about a 2km walk from the beginning of the hike (closest one you can found without being dropped off). We paid more to have dinner there which was amazing, and they also prepared breakfast for us at 5:30am despite ongoing scheduled town blackouts which made it difficult to cook.

This was the perfect place to stay in the Valbonë valley before starting our hike over the mountain pass to Theth the next day. The people working at the hotel could not have been more welcoming or lovely to all guests, we felt so incredibly looked after and relaxed from the minute we arrived. We had the most delicious dinner the night before and breakfast in the morning was perfect to set us up for the hike. They even set up a table outside with provisions for guests to make and pack a lunch to take on the hike. The beds were very comfortable and the setting couldn’t be more peaceful and beautiful. The rooms were very well equipped with lovely powerful showers - perfect after a long day exploring the mountain paths.

Friendly staff and letting us grab as many sandwiches as we want to bring on our hike. The views are already amazing there as well. Waking up into a fairytale. 1 hour away from the start of the hike to Theth. They offered a busride to the start but we just did it all. Started out down the road of the hotel at the dry river bed. Total 7 hour hike with stops.

We had two double rooms. The rooms were fine, not super spacious but sufficient. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Breakfast was good once we finally got it.

This was a brilliant place to stay and our host was so helpful and friendly. We stayed in a little apartment at the bottom of the B&B which was perfect for a family group. You absolutely need a car to take advantage of staying here. The peace, the stunning views and the incredible river two minutes walk away is blissful.
