I've reserved a room at a supposed 4-star hotel, but it's been a terrible experience. The room reeks of mold, there are no towels, the floors are dirty, and the bed is discolored. It's impossible to sleep, especially with my 9-month-old baby. This is unacceptable, and this situation has been extremely disappointing for both me and my family.
On February 29, 2024, I was informed by the hotel that the remaining portion of the payment for my stay would be refunded to my account. However, despite this assurance and the passing of approximately two months, I have yet to receive the refund.
I must emphasize the urgency of this matter, as I checked out of the hotel on the same day I made the initial payment. Due to the unsatisfactory conditions of the hotel, it was imperative for me to vacate the premises immediately.
Given the delay in receiving the promised refund, I kindly request immediate action to rectify this situation.

The staff are professional and to the point. You get the exact answer to a question and this always makes them serve you faster. I was happy with the room and the service and the location, it is also very convenient for all your needs like supermarkets, food stores, mosque etc. The car park too is very user friendly and accessible directly to the hotel lift. The only issue was that on my second day I found that many cars had been parked without any sequence and quite a few cars were blocked by cars parked across. I think there are many who are not guest in the hotel who also park because there is no security person at the gate and it opens for any car that comes in front of it. This is a point that the hotel management can take into consideration.
Stayed here for a few nights because it is next to the Sharjah expo center, where my exam was held. The location is really the only major selling point about this hotel. The lagoon view is great, but staying on the top floor for it may not be worth it. It's nice that there's always a taxi outside. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. You shouldn't have very high expectations, the reviews are kind of ridiculous online. It is a great 3 star hotel, or a meh 4 star hotel. Nothing really that special.
Lovely spacious property right in downtown Sjarjah and facing the corniche. The hotel is spread out over several historic houses, courtyards and alleys, interspersed with mature trees and plants. It's a relief if you are tired of the high-rise accommodation of Dubai. Lovely spa and great massage therapist (Moji from Kerala). The best however is the lovely little pool managed by Sam - a true ambassador for the hotel who goes out of his way to make you comfortable. In sum, this hotel does many things just right!

the stuff were incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate the weekend getaway.
I didn't have the buffet breakfast but enjoyed a light lunch in the hotel a couple of times with good service. The room was fine, the reception staff were friendly and helpful, eg with WiFi. The rooftop pool was also a good experience, with fine views over that part of Sharjah. The location is very handy, being close enough to the whole Majaz area, the Qasba Canal and central Sharjah (in March either on foot or by taxi).
The Location is excellent , can avail Taxi or any Public Transport round the clock. Very Close to Sharjah-Dubai side Al Nahda.
The staff are very Customer Centric , some names I do remember such as Rajesh who ensures all is well . Thomas in the Restaurant. Ms Grace always greets with a smile and Ms Aseel and Ms Mariyam. Its a Great Team.

Upon check out I left my watch that was given to me by my husband in the toilet, where already near dubai exit going to Abu dhabi when I remember that I dont have my watch with me, I Called the hotel and the staff where very nice and promth to inspect our room to check my left belonging, my watch was found and returned to me. Thanks to staff and recommended the hotel.
The way the hotel was designed made it suitable for summer and hot weather, the pool is mostly shaded which was important for us. We also loved the gaming room, so spacious and entertaining. Options to have 3 different restaurants for the dinner was a great plus. Pool strats at 7 or 7:30 which is unique in all hotels I visited in UAE
I found in the reception Mr. Ahmed the best person to deal with him he gave me suite in stead of my room booking because there no room available for 14 nights with same rate of room and the best Manager I met in my hotel stays in UAE Mr. Raslan he is a very wise man and very helpful thanks for center hotel staff
Room was clean and beautiful....Had wonderful stay here at Golden Sands Hotel Sharjah....Front desk team always helpful and cheerful especially Mr. Kamal Ala ,Mr. Kamaln, Mr. Shanbel ( serviceman belldesk) were very professional.
