Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, river view and a patio, 4 Fish Eagle Lodge is located in Sasolburg. The location was absolutely amazing and the views directly on the river was stunning. Great entertainment area with all facilities right at the water’s edge. The staff, Nicolas and his wife were extremely efficient was super helpful. Will definitely visit again with my family and friends.

The scenery and sunset was beautiful to see. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was welcoming and friendly.

Aia ja konditsioneeriga Swiss Chalet Clarens asub Clarensis, 26 km kaugusel Golden Gate Highlandsi rahvuspargist ja 3,5 km kaugusel Clarensi golfiklubist. The chalet is stunning, new and stylish. Situated in a huge park-like garden with beautiful mountain views. Quiet surroundings. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting - yet close enough for a nice walk to various restaurants in Clarens. The chalet contains all that is needed for self-catering including comfy beds and a fireplace for the cooler evenings. There is also a solar / battery backup power unit which automatically takes over during loadshedding. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Gem of a place in Clarens - highly recommended.

Sandra, Kiki and her family are wonderful people. They made sure we enjoyed our holiday with taking care of every little detail. The food was delicious, the view is splendid and the place so calm and perfect to relax.

Boschfontein Mountain Lodge asub Ficksburgis, Ficksburgi golfiklubist 17 km kaugusel. Majutusruumides on istumisnurk. Majutusasutusel on terrass ja tasuta eraparkla. Peretubades on ka välikamin. I stayed at the Boschfontein Mountain lodge for one night, and once I saw the property I immediately regretted not booking a longer stay. Toni, the owner, was incredibly helpful and friendly, making the checking-in experience a breeze - this was made all the more remarkable given the fact that I made the booking last minute and she was not informed of my stay ahead of arrival. The lodge has everything one can possibly need for a comfortable stay, including an amazingly designed braai (bbq) in the center of the dining area, more than enough cutlery and seating space, and the owners' very friendly dogs to keep you company :). The bed was super comfy and everything was clean, neat and tidy. If my review ended here it would have already warranted a 5 star rating. However, the view from the property, of the Maluti mountains and the valley below, as well as the peace, quiet and serenity of the property are what really sets it apart from most places I have stayed at in that part of the world. This is mainly due to the fact that the lodge was built at the foot of the mountain that envelops the farm, and therefore provides an amazing vantage point from which to survey the scenery below. This also means it's quite easy to hike up the mountain for a 360 degree view of the wonderful Easter Free State landscape. I genuinely, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Boschfontein Mountain Lodge and can absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a few nights' rest in the area. PS; Just 1 thing to note: The road up to the lodge requires a car with a high clearance, otherwise Toni or Morgan will have to take guests up to the property in their Land Rover (which I'm sure is not a problem).
