The room was very comfy, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed. There is also solar power that kicked in during load- shedding, and the wifi was great. Sophia was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed paddling on the river on our last day.

We unfortunately arrived in the rain and left in the rain, so the birdwatching I hoped for was a little dampened. Fortunate rain for all the animals plants and people of the bushveld tho! The owners are gracious and helpful - and such good cooks. Despite the downpours and wind, we slept warm and dry in our unique accommodation. Would love to visit again on a sunny day!

Offering panoramic views of the Zuurberg Mountain Range, Camp Figtree by The Oyster Collection features a variety of game drives, safaris and game walks. The view from the mountains is amazing. There is a nice pool and relaxing area. We had a dinner also with this view. The rooms are pretty, all made us to feel good!! We had a small Kia Picanto rental car, very small one. Luckily it was not rainy season, so it was no problem to go up with this car, we had to drive slow and carefully and all was fine!!! The hotel is not far from Addo National Park, so before heading there we made a 2 hour driving from the northern entrance of the park and we saw many elephants and other animals.

So welcoming and friendly! Our room was a dream, with lots of nice African destsils. Dinner and breakfast were delicious! But most incredible are the giraffes! A safari with Kerneels is simply the best… you learn how to approach the giraffes etc. his enthusiasm after 17 years of being with giraffes is amazing and contagious. We want to come back!
