Volcano Eco Cabin Retreat is a chalet situated in Volcano, 16 km from Kilauea and 9.6 km from Volcano National Park's entrance. We loved everything about the accomodation. The atmosphere is wonderful, in the middle of a forest, calmness, silence, beautiful starry nights, jungle sounds. The lodge has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, everything is clean. It is very close, about a 20 minutes drive to Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend to stay here if you visit Big Island. The hosts are so kind and helpful they really put their hearts and mind into this little lodge. Beautiful location with helpful staff. They accommodated us despite a last minute booking need. The grounds were gorgeous and very well maintained. The pool was exceptional and great for kids. Located at the base of Mauna Kea Volcano, this upcountry Waimea lodge offers cable TV with work desk and fans (available upon request) . Hapuna Beach is 15 minutes’ drive away. The office closed on 8:00pm but offered an easy late check-in option which was a locker box with a code. The same if you check out early. Very convenient! There is also a restaurant looks good beside the lodge.

Located 2 miles from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, this Volcano hotel offers a Lava Tube Tour and an outdoor hot tub. Comfortable, clean, good value. Our 8 & 10 year old girls were very taken with the snacks that were left out for us, nice touch :-)
