Loved the location, and the proximity to the Grand Canyon. Jet black night for stargazing with next to no light pollution. Ate out, but would have been very comfortable there if we needed to cook. AC a little loud, but fine if set and left. Only note, no blinds upstairs so if using the mezzanine as an actual bedroom be aware you’ll be awake at sunrise.

Objekat Cheerful Kathys Cabin, King Bed, Hot Tub, Close to NAU, Airport & Hiking Trails! What a wonderful cabin!! An absolute beautiful place to stay and visit the area. The cabin is very spacious and everything you could possibly need is there. Beautiful peace and quiet nature. A nice jacuzzi in the backyard area which was up and running and clean. Great beds and showers. We loved it! A very friendly host who came and changed the battery of the carbon monoxide detector within minutes because it sounding an alarm. Too bad we couldn’t stay longer but we might come back some time in future. Maybe even in the winter when there is snow!
