Hosts Jo and Darren were extremely helpful and friendly: nothing was too much trouble. The Lodge was fabulous and fully equipped with absolutely everything you may need for a relaxing break. Beautifully furnished and decorated home from home. A full, comprehensive, "Welcome Pack" was kindly left for our use by the host as well as good quality toiletries in the bathroom. Fresh, clean, good quality towels and bed linen were virtually new and felt luxurious.

The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog, and there was a good place to walk dogs just across the road. Danton Lodge combines dog friendliness with an excellent level of cleanliness.

It was super peaceful, comfortable and the bedroom was spacious. The lounge area was really nice too, the sofas and decor were all modern and the place was really clean. I’d definitely recommend booking this place, it’s perfect for 2 people or a small family as there’s space in the lounge too! The kitchen had everything you needed and the bathroom was nice too- shower was lovely. The host is amazing- he was kind and went above and beyond to cater to our needs. I will definitely be staying here again.

Very personal human service in a world that often lacks that. Everything we needed. Would stay again. If you are concerned or worried about booking an apartment rather than a more traditional stay, don't be with this particular one.

Some very nice touches left in the property. Like Tea and milk. Shower bits, sweets, and some soft drinks . Property very warm, even with the wind howling outside.
