The cottage is a piece of history. The gardens are so lovely. Make me go back in time. Definitely a place worth to spend the nights. Very good communication with the host, friendly and happy to help. I recommend, you will not regret it.

Offering a garden and lake view, The Lodge by the Lake, Dunbar is located in Dunbar, 2.8 km from Whitesands Beach and 33 km from Muirfield. The property was a cute little lodge on the edge of a Loch. It was very warm and cosy- perfect for a weekend escape. It was lovely and secluded with plenty of wildlife around- i would definately recommend a set of binoculars to do some bird watching while relaxing in the hot tub. The hot tub was pre heated and the rooms was beautifully clean. All the amenities was all in good working conditions. Hair dryer, defuser and kitchen in good working order- although the extractor fan wasn't working this wasn't an issue. Its a perfect place for star gazers, you can see over 4 constellations in the sky as it seems to be in a dark area with many shooting stars. Lovely beaches close by and not far from the centre with some lovely shops and resurants. Will definately be booking looking forward to booking again in the summer.
