Charming forest view cabin with hot tub in Ballater er staðsett í um 15 km fjarlægð frá Balmoral-kastala og státar af garðútsýni ásamt gistirýmum með garði og svölum. Cabin was clean and warm. Location was good as many things to do within driving distance. Would definitely recommend it. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere to base yourself. Going up ladder for top bed good for older kids.

All unique örhouse - Moss Cabin er staðsett í Banff, 1,1 km frá Inverboyndie-ströndinni, 35 km frá Huntly-kastalanum og 18 km frá Delgatie-kastalanum. Loved the fireplace and how cozy it felt. Great shower. Loved the little garden with all its fairy lights. The whole place was just right!

Cairngorm Bothies er staðsett í Aboyne, í innan við 32 km fjarlægð frá Balmoral-kastala og 46 km frá Huntly-kastala. It was a fun experience with the kids. The bothie is a small wood cabin, very cosy and ours (there are 12) was very clean and well equipped. The kids loved the location in the woods, the feeling of living a bit like in the olden times with the wood stove. If you are considering renting for 4 people please be advised that the double bed is a regular size but the two extra beds are quite short and not suitable for two adults. We were fine because our kids are still short enough to fit comfortably.
